Ramon Lopez-Reyes was born in New York City in 1932 of Hispanic parents. He served twenty-two years in the U.S. infantry with duty in Berlin, Korea, Vietnam, Panama and the Pentagon. He has been in private practice as a depth psychologist for the past 40 years. Since 1987, he has given lectures and individual courses through his Institute of Depth Psychology. He also was a part-time psychological instructor at several colleges and universities. After leaving the military, he became involved in various peace projects to include the Central America Zone of Peace. He has also published several articles on peace and on Hawaiian Sovereignty. He obtained the Ph.D. from the University of Chicago in 1961`under the mentorship of Dr. Bruno Bettleheim and the Diploma from the Carl Jung Institute, Zurich in 1980 under the guidance of Dr. Marie-Louise von Franz. He also obtained a M.A. in political science in 1977. Many unmentioned individuals played key roles in producing the papers, among them was Kathryn Utke, who provided many insights that found their way into the papers and his daughter Natalia, who took on the brunt of setting up this webpage.
